(lillian BRINKLEY)
Lillian's design job for underwear giant Victoria's Privates provides undo stress in a world that is already unraveling. Her overzealous drive to succeed and impress her high profile (and delicious) boss means that her young, troubled marriage must take a backseat. Prone to fits of violence, delusions of grandure and off key singing in the shower, it is clear that she still has a long way to go in our sessions.

Ethan's insaciable desire to drive his wife insane is certainly one of the many problems plaguing his marriage to Lillian. A nervous disorder, borderline racism, and the constant presence of his sister-in-law pushes Ethan even closer to falling off the deep end. Couple that with his unfulfilling and unpredictable job as president of the Whittley Online Balloon Company, and you have a metaphorical cocktail of death.

This handsome devil received his PhD in Psychology while attending university with the previously mentioned patients. His new practice is developing well thanks in part to the office he decorated himself, and he has decided to see the Brinkleys mostly as a returned favor for events which transpired in college and shall remain unspoken. They think he's cheap, but they're charged 5% more than normal patents.

There is no end to the torment my patients suffer at the dimwitted hands of Lillian's alcoholic sister. With a flare for saying exactly the wrong thing at the wrong time and a knack for psychological meltdowns, Paige could single-handedly destroy the life of anyone she came in contact with. Even if Paige's path of self destruction doesn't do her in, I'm afraid that Ethan or even Lillian may do it for her.

Ethan's friend and coworker is a perfect example of the kind of person not to be. With a complete disregard for his fellow man and no apparent understanding of personal boundries, Larry has figured out exactly how to push Lillian's buttons and does nothing less than add fuel to the fire of Ethan's relentless ridicule. I guess when you're as desperate for friends as Ethan, you learn to settle.

Lillian's trusty personal assistant may be the only stable relationship she has going for her. Stacy himself, on the otherhand, appears to be a complete mess of his own. His "metrosexuality" sends mixed signals to everyone he encounters, and I'm sure his loyalty to others is only as deep as his desire to advance in his career. Still without Stacy by her side, Lillian might finally have that nervous break down.

It can't be easy taking orders from a woman who changed her last name to that of a popular liquor, but Lillian hangs on her every word and command. A former super model , Audrey retired when nature took its toll, and founded her own designer underwear company (despite that fact that she doesn't wear them herself). Her outrageous demands on Lillian are one reason I label this marriage as "doomed."

Mr. Whittley is the owner and founder of an online balloon manufacturer. There isn't much good you can say about the man's personality, but he's got passion and drive, so that must amount to something, right? Always looking at the bottom line, he's a classic corporate fat cat, even if he is on the bottom rung of the fiscal ladder. His over inflated ego and sleezy personality often put Lillian and Ethan at odds.
